Hang up a call

I'm finding that on a long phone call, when I'm finished, the screen has gone to sleep and I have to use the button at the top of the phone to turn the screen on and then hit "End" to hang up the phone. Is there a way yo keep the screen on while I'm talking so I can end the call when I want to?

The problem with that would be your cheek would hit the screen and try to do stuff while you are on the phone. I have had the screen lock on me a couple times as well, but just pushing the power/lock button wakes the screen right up for me.
