OK.. I didn't know this until recently.. So I'm putting it out there. For those of us that enable developer options on our devices.(by tapping on "build number" in about phone) I typically go in and I turn my animations scales off...
Doing this usually makes the device snappier.. Less "lag" from the animations.. I've done this on practically all of my devices..
So on my Droid Maxx, a Co workers droid ultra, and my Droid turbo.. I was having dialer issues.. I would go to call a person.. And my dial pad wouldn't pop up.. I'd have to close the app and try again.. Then it would usually materialize..
After doing some research I found out that if you completely turn off your animation scales, it will cause dialer issues on these devices.. So.. Keep the animation scales set to at least ( .5)
