HBO Go and Time Warner Cable app does not work on my Galaxy Note 3

When I try to play something on Galaxy Note 3 from HBO GO or Time Warner Cable App, I get a black screen for a few seconds then it goes back to the Opening title page with the Play arrow. Anyone get theirs to work?

It's an Android 4.3 incompatibility issue, not unique to the Note3..

I like my Galaxy note 3 but am very disappointed about HBO Go and Time Warner Cable not working because of Android 4.3. I sincerely hope there will be a solution soon. I had no trouble with my Galaxy Nexus with these two apps.
