HDMI out - Picture but no sound

Finally got the HDMI out to working (NOTE: the power MUST be plugged in) but I get picture and no sound. Is there something in the setup I've missed? Picture quality is great though.

I exchanged the vid out cable and got one that works . It's great.

sometimes when i get a call waatching netflix through my mhl hook up ill loose sound, have to get off my ars and unplug mhl from phone and plug back indancedroid
