Headphones don't work...

No matter what headphone set I put in the phone, the sound still comes out of the phone speakers and not the actual headphones. I learned this the hard/old-fashioned way when I was trying to listen to a song in the library.

Are there any options to have the sound always play through the speaker? I know on older moto devices there was. Has it ever worked right or is this a new issue? Have you installed any new apps for sound management?

Okay first make sure no lint etc has gotten in the hole. RAZR maxx are notorious for this. Get a can of air and blow bit or take back paperclip and clean it out. I had the same issues and now works like a charm.
