Headphones!?

I just bought a pair of Monster Turbines with a 3-button in-line control and was hoping to use them with my Droid 3, however I can't seem to get them to work with any of the apps I've found on the market. So far, I've tried Headset Button Controller, Headset Droid and RemoteControl for Earphones. There HAS to be a way to get a 3-button headset to work with this phone! Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas??

I think klipsch is releasing and android version of the s4, the S4A. Most others are entry level I think.
