helix launcher help!!!

I went from 7 screens to 5 screen and now my helix launcher just keeps force closing and I can't do anything. Any help??

Before you reduce the number of screens, you have to be sure and take all the icons and widgets off your screens FIRST. Had you set Helix as the default home? If so, I'd assume you're stuck in a constant FC loop... search the forum for "helix" and you'll see some threads with similar titles that have solutions in them. If you hadn't set it as your default, you may just have to uninstall and reinstall it. Either way, just make sure to always remove everything before changing the number of screens. If you're still stuck, let me know.

Yeah I had to uninstall it. I guess from when I went from 5 screens to 7 I didn't have to remove everything so I didn't think it really mattered. But now I know. Is it everything or just widgets?

To be honest, I'm not sure. I get rid of everything when I'm changing mine, but I'm a "rather safe than sorry" type person.

yes i have a similar problem i tried to down size my windows from 6 to 5 and didn't delete my widgets and stuff, i also made helix my default. now i'm currently stuck in FC and really can't do much about it. i need serious help on top of this i'm a noob and prob gunna need good a good explanation.

i'm pretty sure it stated all over the program to remove any icons/widgets only when decreasing screens. something to keep in mind next time.
