Hello, Fellow Droid Owners!

I am new to the Droid2 operating system and am having trouble finding how to delete the "Google Search" history from my phone. I have used the "Manage search history" tool and have been advised after signing on that I have no search history to delete. I delete everything anyway, but when I return to "Google Search", it's still there. It seems as though my search history is maintained in two places and I can only delete one.
Please forgive if this post is in the wrong place and advise where it needs to go. Any help is appreciated.:)

Try clearing your browser cache. It's good to do it every so often. It can get large after a while and potentially slow down your browser.

To clear Browser Cache, there's 2 places:

1 - browser>menu>more>settings>scroll down to Clear cache.

2 - home menu>settings>applications>manage applications, press All at top>scroll to browser, press on it > clear cache.

NOTE: When you try #1 you get the message "Locally cached content and databases will be deleted." I haven't done #1 in 10 months but I think it did erase my automatically filled web site passwords. I can't be sure so I'm just giving you fair warning.

So I have only been doing #2 once a month or so. You should definitely do it occasionally.

Also when I looked again at #1, right below Clear cache is Clear history. That might work if the clear cache options don't.

So I would try #2 first and see if that does it. If not try Clear history then #1.

History eraser is a free app on the market that lets you delete history from searches on the browser, market, youtube, and even your call log. So check that one out, its easy to use and doesn't take much room on your memory.
