hello from another newbie to the Droid world

This morning when I could NOT shut off the Droid my alarm clock short of pulling out its battery:icon_evil:, I knew I needed to find a support forum ASAP. I am three days into Droid ownership and I have come close to smashing the device several times! Simple stuff like speed dailing numbers and answering a call should not be this hard. Looking forward to finding support here. Thanks!
