hello handcent message read question

Hi everyone, I am new this so any helpful info would be great I have a question for anyone that can help. I am currently using handcent and am wanting to know how i know when a text has been read? I have seen some people say it shows up with a green check. I see a blue box with a white check, does this indicate the text had been read?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

I don't personally use Handcent - but I know on some other texting apps, the boxes of threads / conversations with "unread" messages, appear as a brighter color than the conversations without unread texts...hope that helps!
