Hello! Switching from an iPhone

Just joined today. I currently have an iPhone but I'm seriously considering switching to Verizon for a Droid. I'm concerned that I've become so adjusted to the iPhone OS that the transition will be difficult but - we shall see!

Anyone switched from an iPhone to a Droid recently?

Would love to hear how it went.

I went from a Samsung Omnia to a Droid....never going back. I think you'll like it.

I switched from an unlocked jailbroken iphone. So I had much more usability of mine over the typical iphone.

Even then its no where close to the usability of the droid. Personally the slide out key board was a nice idea back then. but now it never gets used.

You might want to wait a month if you can, supposed to be a new droid coming out next month some time. Shadow/xtreme/2/supermegawesomeness/? cant remember the name... too many.

what are your exact concerns?

Welcome. You'll love the service and I agree with something I read more than once elsewhere, give yourself an HONEST 2 weeks of good use to get used to it. It's different and soon will be second nature too.
