:welcome: to the Droid Forum. As a former Blackberry person myself, I know you're going through quite a learning curve. Hang in there, once you put the dots together it's a great phone. Just so long as you grasp the concept that it's a google phone, contacts are linked to gmail and get your email account (s) straightened out you shouldn't have that much difficulty.
