:welcome: to the Droid Forum. I did the same thing, went from a Storm 1, then a Storm 2 but hardware problems forced me back to the Verizon Store and I walked out with a Droid. Best move I could have made.

There is a pretty big learning curve. Forget everything you learned about Blackberry, battery pulls, app memory. Nothing to worry about. If you need some help let us know and we will try and point you in the right direction.
