New to the Android phones. I have Droid 2 coming tomorrow and I will be hanging around for awhile,

I currently am using a BB tour. It is alright but slow browsing the web and have to do a battery pull every day or two.
Hopefully that will not be an issue with the D2

Off to find what apps are a must have.dancedroid

Welcome aboard! I know a few who had bb's before android phones and they all were happy with the change.

As for must have apps feel free to list a few of your needs or hobbies and folks will start posting suggestions for you!

One thing I would like to do is to remote access into my home pc to listen to music or watch videos that i have on my computer.

Is there a app for dish tv? So i can set record timers if i will not be home to watch a show?

Welcome! I believe Directv has an app but I am not able to find one for Dish!
