Hi justin82! Right now I primarily use my moto droid, but I also own a G1 and rooted G1 that I used back when I was still with TMobile. I considered rooting one of my moto droids before, but I just didn't found the need to.

I have played with the G1 a great phone.. i would have had one but Tmobile = No service in my area

I loved the G1, it was a bit troublesome on some levels of its design (the shaky screen, and that you could put it in a sock and kill someone with it) but it was a great introduction to Android for me. I <3 my :motdroidhoriz: though!

My girlfriend has a g1 and she loves it but its starting to poop out and her. Its def a fun little device though.

For some reason that seemed to be a thing with my G1s too. They lasted for a bit, don't get me wrong, but once they started to go, they really went.
