Help!! Acidentally did 444 permissions to my system/app folder

And now my phone is stuck in a boot loop. It get's to the red eye and then turns off and tries to boot again. I was trying to change my system/app folder to 744 because it was in 777 from when I did a theme update but I accidentally hit OK when I was in root explorer and it was in the 444 setting.

Can someone please help me?? Do I have to do a factory reset?? Will that even work?

Thanks!!
