HELP !! Camera on Droid keeps coming on

I have a Motorola Droid, the camera keeps coming on, I go to a different app, even my main screen and all of a sudden it changes to the camera again. I have tried to update software, up to date, have taken out the battery about 7 times. Turned on phone is "safe mode" NOTHING is working..... someone help me ! Thank you

The same thing is happening to my Droid. I just finished an insurance claim on it and they are sending me an Eris, because they are not getting Droids any more, weird huh?
