Help cant view pictures

I need help, i'm not sure what happened but I can't view any of my gallery. And it keeps making my tone like I have a message or missed call but I don't. I love my phone. I can't loose all my christmas pictures or my daughters birthday picture. Someone please tell me what to do.

Do you have anything in the notification bar? Also, try a reboot.

No, is reboot going to delete pictures? How do I reboot?

Reboot won't delete the pictures, they should be saved to your SD card (or in other words, rebooting the phone is like rebooting a PC). To reboot, long-press your power button and it should give you a menu with reboot as an option.
