HELP! High pitched noise?

Today i was tanning and i was playing music through my phone. :motdroidhoriz:
I got a phone called, picked it up, and once i hung up, my music started skipping. I've never had that happen so i turned the music off, let it sit, and started playing it again. It worked fine. That was around 5pm. Its now 3pm. I just went upstairs and heard a very anoyying high pitched sound. I thought maybe it was coming from my laptop, but it was coming from the back speaker on my phone. I turned it off, took out the battery, and let it sit. Then i turned it back on and i havent heard the sound yet, but i still want to know what it was. HELP?:wacko:

Mine has not made a heat pitch noise alone, but this started yesterday. When I was listening to music (slacker radio) the music became very high pitched and squeaky sounding. Also the normally low toned DROID sound that I use as an alert noise is very high pitched and sounds like a mouse said DROID. I have no idea what is causing this. I am rebooting my phone to see if that helps at all.
