I rooted this device, and was about to start installing apps from the Play Store but clicking "Market" just results in an error message. In hopes that it would auto-update Google Services Framework and the market app, I left it on with Wi-Fi enabled for a while but it never did that.
The last thing I tried was to copy the Google Services Framework app from another rooted device and install it on the Photon 4g, but apparently it simply installed it as a user app, and then there were multiple versions of it running but no updating happening.
Thanks in advance for any ideas of how to get this phone on the play store
