Hi all
I have a problem, for many hours now I have trying to "reboot into recovery" in order to install a different "ROM",my phone is root.
Is there anyone here who can explain in a simple way how to do before I start to rip my hair by frustration.
I have tried to bring home a "app / widget" on Android Market, but it does not quite work properly, when I use it the damn phone just start as usual!

What phone. Not all droids are alike

Have you tried the app rom manager? It allows you to flash clockwordmmod recovery and spr...after flashing the recovery of your choice you can then use rom manager again to boot into reccovery

Hi, I have a sony-ericsson arc, no I have not tryed "the app rom manager"what do you mean with clockwordmmod?, does that work on sony ericsson?

Xperia Arc right? I believe clockworkmod recovery works on that. I saw this over at cyanogens. I will post the link, but I would do some quick google searches on the matter and look up different roms first. This link may not be the best way to do things. I have a droid x, and I found all the info I needed easily. It shouldn't be too tough. I also read that you can unlock the bootloader, so that seems fun.
