HELP, my backlight is off, moto droid!

I woke up this morning and my screen wasnt working.. i thought it just went out.. until i was outside i noticed i could BARLEY see my screen in the sunlight. so my screen WORKS, but something is wrong with my backlight of something.. i have no idea.. please help me as i am receiving texts and cant even read them!

yeap.. i did that.. when i COULD see my screen outside, now its dark out, i managed to go to settings and mess with the display brightness and stuff.. but nothing worked.. i dont know what to do, or even how much it would be to get it fixed, it if is fixable, which im assuming it is, because nothing is wrong with my phone except the backlight or whatever!

I have the same issue with my Droid as well, please help!

take it into Vz to have it looked at. A tech might just finf the problem. My unfortunate but obvious thought is that the backight is out. I think they call it some fancy word but the just of it is that youd have to take apart your phone and put in a new one. You still got warranty?
