help needed urgently

just got my motorola droid 2 global stocked put a few apps on and now it is not going further that the unlock screen where it goes blank. can someone give me some advice please.

if you havent tried a battery pull (soft reset) you might want to try that. if that doesnt work you may want to cut the phone off, then open the keyboard, press and hold both the "power" and the "X" button and see if you can boot into recovery and fix it from there. not too sure if this will work but its all i can think of. hope this can help and if nothing else since your stock you could take it back to VZW. should still have warrenty

That sounds like a Launcher FC issue to me if after the lockscreen there is nothing. Did you DL any launcher or home replacement apps?
