Help! "The application Browser (process com.android.browser) stopped unexpectedly.

i have a rooted droid 2 and i cant launch the browser, i keep getting this error. does anyone know how to fix it?? its so frustrating!

i tried clearing the browser data b/c some of the posts said that would work but it hasnt made any difference....any help is appreciated..
