Help! Tryna get hotspot from phone to tablet!

I got a droid 1 and i also got a acer android tablet. My motorola droid is rooted i know need help trying to figure out how to get my tablet to get wifi from my rooted droid help plz!

Well... what have you tried? Which programs have you downloaded, and what is the issue with the connection? Some more info about what has not worked would be helpful.

Well I tryed barnacle and it won't connect cause of ad-hoc I heardd. Wat you suggest??
