Help with couple apps!!

I was wondering if I can stop the led green flashing for my email at all? My house was without power the other night and I used my phone for light, and after I was done all I seen was this flashing green light for email? Id there anyway to not have that?

The other one is how do I stop the facebook notifications, I had it once and all of a sudden I am getting the notifications again, with the blue flashing led? How do I not get these?

There might be more but this is the first 2 for now.

there are setting in email and facebook to turn off notifactions. LED options in email i believe.

You should also turn the notifications off on the messaging app.
It blinks red when the BATTERY is low.
I simply turn my phone upside down when I don't want to see it
