Help with Darkslide Rom

I just got my droid a few weeks ago and rooted it yesterday. i backed it up and installed Darkslide. How do i get it on my droid? i went to my files and unzipped the file. Im new to this and a little confused. Any help would be appreciated.

You have to be rooted with bootstrapper, Look at the first through third posts on the main topic, I just installed last week. it is super simple and the most awesome ROM ever!

What did you root your phone with?

After you installed the ROM zip to your computer, do NOT unzip it. You don't

unzip it on computer or on the phone. When select the file in bootstrap it will

do that for you. You said you backed it up. What did you back up? The phone?

You need to start from the beginning.

Read carefully one of the tutorials for the process of rooting and installing Roms.

You DO NOT download the rom to your phone and unzip it.

After you read the tutorials we would be happy to help with any questions. It seems you are moving too quickly and may mess things up if you are not careful.
