Verizon sent me a new thunderbot bc my old one rebooted a ton. So now this new tb thinks I'm in Portland Oregon when actually I'm in Washington dc. Anyone have a clue how I can fix this. It's just really annoying seeing my clock 3 hours behind what its supposed to be

Before you replaced the first one did you do a factory data reset? Reboots are usually software related and are easy to resolve.

There are a few things you can do to help with the GPS. First off make sure you have activated the GPS service and Google location service. Go into maps and wait to see if it locks on. If it takes too long try an app in the market called "GPS status". Install and then click on menu then "tools"... choose "manage a GPS state" then do two things... Click download then go back and click reset. This will help the GPS out a bit. After doing this go back and open maps again and wait for it to lock.

What helps me a ton with my GPS is to download an app on the market called GPS Status. Open that up, go to Menu-->Tools-->Manage A-GPS State --> Hit the Reset button and restart the GPS app. It should get an INSTANT lock. Same for Google Maps. (Credit for this info goes to a guy at XDA Forums.

Thanks guys that helps a lot. And I finally got it working. And yes i did the factory reset and still had crazy issues with reboots. But now that the gps is fixed on this phone it works amazingly. Not one reboot and perfect gps lock every time I go anywhere and/or use the navigation
