Help with playing videos on PS3

Hello!

I am trying to figure out how to display my videos on my PS3. I have synced them up with Vcast media manager and my PS3 sees the videos. It even has a thumnail of the video. But it says the video type is unsupported. How can I either change the format of the video or change the type in my PS3?
