help - x not recognized

hey guys. i hope you can help, as i am going crazier than normal.
i rooted my droid x running 2.2 ota, installed a couple custom roms and was switching back from zapx to blackglassx and when it rebooted it stuck on the white M.
i restarted into bootloader mode, but rsd lite is not seeing my phone. i have tried changing the options to first come first serve, i am running win7 as administrator.
i have also tried under vista with the same results.
this is what the phone says when i boot into bootloader:

bootloader says
'bootloader 30.03
battery ok
ok to program
transfer mode: usb'

help please. please. please.

Pull the battery, let it sit for a minute, put battery back in and power on, go into recovery mode (hold the home button when you turn the phone on and keep holding it) and then wipe all data/cache...then restart.

thanks for the reply.
when i do that and restart it stills gets stuck on the white circle 'M' during reboot.
