Okay this problem I am about to explain to you has happened twice, maybe 3 times now, and I MUST figure out what is going on.
I have all my sound settings turned on, ringer volume, touch pad noise etc.. normally when I touch something on my phone it makes a click noise.. but for the second time (atleast), when I try and make a call, or receive a call, I can not hear ANYTHING, it's as if it's mute. BUT if I click speaker... I can THEN hear sound and listen to whatever is on the other end of the line. But if I click off speaker it goes right back to not being able to hear anything... I know something is up because when I push the dial pad to make a call, it doesn't make ANY sound, even when that sound feature is enabled. I hope I've explained myself enough for you to understand my issue...
The first time I remedy the problem, i rebooted my phone... but I don't want to do that quite yet because I want to figure out the problem.. can ANYONE help me?!

It most likely has to do with using your headphones. If it happens after using headphones (or anything else plugged into the audio jack) then that's probably your problem. Search for headphones and speakerphone... it's a known issue and has been discussed a lot.
