Sup everyone, I'm just about in the market for a new phone...and of course the moto droid and the htc incredible have caught my eye...im normally the kind of person that wants to get the latest and greatest electronic device out there, but i cant justify the tag on the incredible as it would be an out right purchase on craigslist or ebay.

but whats everyones opinion on which one would be better to get, would i honestly be just as satisfied with the moto droid? or would i have that feeling of "man i should have gotten the incredible"

I would hold out for the Moto Droid 2 or Extreme when it comes out this summer

I have both. I love the Moto Droid because it has been rooted, and I can play with different ROM'S. The Incredible is an awesome phone. The speed is amazing and I am positive it will be rooted soon. Its a hard choice. With either one you will not be disappointed. If price is an issue you could most likely get the Moto Droid a little cheaper since you have to buy the phone out right. So I would recommend the Moto Droid, trust me you will not be disappointed. There are some many ROMS and hacks for the phone you will never get bored.

nah the blackberry storm i have now is nearing its end lol, i think ill be alright with current gen droid phones, but thanks though

I used to have a Storm(1st generation) it was a POS. When I purchased the Moto Droid I was in heaven. It is what a smart phone should be. I am glad I could help.

sorry forgot to ask about the droid eris, hows that stand with the bigger two? i know the specs but i haven't been able to play hands on with it

I also had the Eris, when I bought the Moto Droid verizon had a promo to get the Eris free. I returned it after about a week. I thought my wife might like it, but she didn't. Personally I did not like it either.
