Hi all so what I need help with is that I want to switch out my phone (Samsung fascinate) with another android phone. I have looked at the tests and comparisons but I am not too sure which would be the best. The options are:
-Droid X
-Droid 2 Global
Soon to be out (droid Bionic)

Preferences:
I do a lot of web surfing
I take a lot of pictures

All opinions are appreciated, thanks

Droid X if you web surf alot but don't mind using softkeys, simply for the larger screen. The D2 is a solid phone for the fan of a physical keyboard. D2 has a 5MP camera, and DX has an 8MP camera. Both are capable of the same apps and OS.

Or wait for the Bionic.

I don't like to wait and you named three of my favs....I can't help, good luck!

Droid X is very nice and camera is good but, especially if you do a lot of web browsing, you might want to hold out for one of the 4G phones coming out in a couple of months

If you can wait, the Bionic is the way to go. Otherwise it comes down to are you a hacker or not? If not, the D2G has a lot going for it. If you are, the DX is the best choice, hands down.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I got the phone in September, planning on selling the phone and opening a new line to get the promotional price and put a older dummy phone on my current line. I hope waiting wont make a difference cause the Bionic seems like a beast with its dual processors and 4.3 inch screen and 8MP camera.

Well I will like to go into hacking cause it seems like fun. The only reason I did not root the fascinate is because I was hoping for the upgrade to 2.2 which did not happen.

web surfing and pics......Droid X hands down.

You'll enjoy the bigger screen for browsing and also the better camera on the X. Of course the number of MP doesn't really mean much considering some of the best camera phones are still 5mp, from what I've read.
