Hi and please help

I am new to the smart phone group and I am already having problems with my droid 2 global. When I take the phone out of my side holder it shows connected to media center and its draining my battery while in the holder. Thanks for any help. dancedroid

Welcome to the forum. Is ur side holster have a magnetic strip that turns ur phone off/on? As for battery, that can be part of the issue if its continuously running. Just trying to understand what its doing. Are u ending the app?

Welcome! Many folks have issues with holsters that have magnetic closures.

:welcome: to the forum. I say its a magnet causing the problem. In fact, if the polarity was reversed it may say its in the car dock.
