OK, so I bought a used D1 off of eBay and it has yet to arrive, but already I am looking here and there doing my research on my upcoming toy.
Fortunately, Google brought me here, which introduced me to rooting and ROM flashing guides, kernels, overclocking, custom ROMs, and of course the notorious banana dance :icon_ banana:.

but I digress.

So anyway. I graduated with a degree in computer science last year, and am currently working in a private bank in Indonesia.
I studied programming for ~4 years (which I totally hated), took a CCNA course soon after my thesis defense, and currently I work in banking operations.
Not exactly a straight career path here, but hey, everyone's gotta make a living, rite?

I've been a keen IT and gadget fan ever since God knows when; my first contact with a PC was sometime in 1993 or 1994 (I was born in 1988, BTW). I remember it was a 486 PC, with a monochrome TVM display, no mouse, ISA card slots, 5.25" disk drive, MS DOS, the works. on 1997 my late grandpa bought me a Pentium 120Mhz PC. I've tasted almost every version of MS Windows there is; save for Windows Me. I've toyed on my father's Silicon Graphics workstation, seen Adobe Photoshop 2.0, witnessed people working on PCs with MO and DAT drives. I remember the days when CD-Rs were so expensive and I didn't dare to touch the keyboard or PC during the burning process for the fear of buffer underrun, and my journey on the world wide web began with a 28.8 kbps modem (most of the guys around my age have never seen nor used a dial-up modem in their lives).

So yeah, I spend most of my time in front of various computers and/or gadgets, but I do have a *real* life though. I enjoy working out, going to the movies, and eating out.
I go on motorcycle tours whenever the time and weather allows as well. I'd occasionally hit the club with my college friends too.

...and uh, I honestly don't know what else to say, so uh... Hello there guys! Pleasure to meet y'all!
