Hi, I'm new and can't recieve the new update to my rooted phone. HELP!

Hi, I joined this site because I need help. I have a rooted droid (original droid not the X or droid 2). In July I updated to froyo 2.2 via bugless beast. Now my phone keeps asking me to update to 2.2 via the network but when I download and restart it fails every time. I'm getting extremely annoyed by constantly being asked to update when I already have the update. What do I do?

Welcome! Glad you joined us. When you installed BB did you do both installs? The first takes seconds and will block future notifications. Check the BB (Pete's) site to see if there is a fix.

Thanks. I checked the site and saw he's preparing to come out with bbv0.5 and that he made a fix to block the OTA notification but it has mixed reviews about it working. Also does the new 2.2 froyo update have anything new to offer that the bbv0.4 didn't? It seems that the 2.2 that came with bbv0.4 was an older version of froyo.
