So Readers Digest version - I had a Blackberry for the longest. Ex got me the Droid for Christmas saying it was the latest and greatest thing to have.
"Meh" I thought to myself. "Would rather have had you buy me the latest Blackberry, but whatever - I'll play with your little toy you got me and then trade it in later when you're not looking. I'll just say it didn't work properly and get the phone I really want...."
So I start playing with the Droid and got hooked. Like instantly.
"Blackberry?? wtf would I want one of those for now!? I have THIS!"
Fast forward 7 months later to July 15th, and I'm out buying the new Droid X for myself.
The relationship didn't last, but hey - at least something good came out from it dancedroid
