hi, new razr maxx and a question or 2

Hi, I have a droid razr maxx with verizon. I have gmail. I keep getting duplicates in my contacts. I went thru gmail and updated my contacts. yet my phone keeps doin 2 of some with just a little difference. Dont know why? is it verizon? And yesterday I made 2 calls and could not hang up. kept pressing the hangup button and it wouldnt disconnect. minutes cost. I think it finally disconnected from the other end of the call. Thanks for your help! :blink:

You probably had the contacts backed up more than once before manually. This happens alot to my girlfriends Evo. Or you probably used google to back them up and also the backup assistant that Verizon provides.

How were your contacts restored - google, backup assistant, in store transfer?

As for the call disconnect... Did you reboot the phone in between or after the first issue?

Exactly, you might have to go to Google.com and go delete the duplicated contacts

Thanks to all! the store did do a transfer from my old phone, plus I have google and verizon. And no I did not do and no I did not reboot, does that mean turning the phone off completely and turning it on? Sorry, lots to learn!
