Hello! I am definately not a technology advanced person, I have never had a smartphone, but feel now is my time. I am a real estate appraiser, and want a phone that will act as a both a phone and a tablet... there is an appraisal app that I am excited to use. I am planning to get the phone off wirefly.com to save some money.... I guess I am wanting to know, what phone is most recommended? Least problems, ease of use, etc? I have verizon, so I think it has to be a android. Thank you! Becky

Welcome to the forums dd. Very subjective thing - to pick a new phone. I would suggest that you go a local Verizon store and play with the various phones. Right now, if you want Android, I would select from Bionic, RARZ, Rezound and the Galazy Nexus (should be out in a week or so). Each one will perform about the same. The differences are mainly in the appearance of the phones and the types of screen. The Bionic has the best screen for viewing in sunlight, but it is not the best as some are bothered by pixelation. The RAZR has that amazing thinness and a very good screen. The Rezounds screen is great with very warm colors. The appearance of these three screens is so different, you really should see each in person before selecting. Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. Look at them in-person then order online if that's what you want to do.

Also, they will all have Ice Cream Sandwich (the next great OS update) soon.

Good luck and enjoy your new phone.

Yea I would personally give you a push towards the RAZR. Being that you are going to be using it for work and will most likely want to be storing/transferring files and using up some data, the RAZR has really been lightning fast and a little zippier than the new iphone and similar phones. The build is strong while the design is sleek. This was my first smartphone...got it a little over two weeks ago and now that i have learned how to use the thing its fantastic. You would have to pry it out of my hands.

I agree with Bayou tho...each person is different and really being able to look, touch, hear, and play with the phones in person is crucial. Plus there are hours of review videos on youtube that may help you make your decision. Best of luck and enjoy!
