Name sounds familiar. I know I've at least seen a headline about them.

What an amazing time we live in, that this kind of thing is being done by private organizations instead of just NASA and other government controlled entities.

Because our current administration cut NASA funding. Private sector is the only way to go.

I think that's a better plan anyway. Look at the innovations that came about from the Cold War and the Space Race. Having more players in the game will offer healthy competition IMO.

Only issue is when the govt wants to control your private sector organizations. I can't imagine the obstacles with launches. Clear ATC, notify NORAD, etc. What happens when you blow up someone's house on a bad reentry?

But we have to have some regulations. Yes our government tends to over regulate at times, but we should not have to worry about a school getting hit by a failed launch.
