Hmmmm, am I the only D3 in the world not updated?

My D3 from Verizon is running 5.6.890.XT862. SHouldn't there be an OTA update by now?

I would:
1) clear system cache partition
2) update PRLs by dialing *22899 and waiting for it to hang up
3) charge battery fully
4) check availability again

If it still didn't work I guess I would have to go with a factory reset.

Have you frozen or deleted any bloatware? If so, you may need to restore those apps.

I unfroze everything that I froze with tbu. I did change the boot animation with root tools. But can't get the original to install again. I will try the steps you have suggested and see what happens. Im hoping it works.
