home icon on my top of droid incredible 2

Can anyone tell me what the home icon on top of the home screen means? it is an icon of a house with bars on top if it that llok like wifi but im not logged into wifi

It just appears randomly. I have had the phone for a while and it has just been showing up the last few weeks. at first I thought it meant I was connected to Wifi but I have my Wifi dissabled
