Home Screen Goin Blank

Recently, my phone will be running fine, and then ill start up an app or text or something, then go back to the home screen and it will be completely blank. The phone isnt frozen and i can still bring up the app menu, but the home screens are just completely blank. Does anyone know whats goin on?

I would love to know the answer to this as well. I have been having this problem since the 2.1 OTA update. I have deleted apps, even did a factory reset. Yet I still have the same problems.
