look like it is not selling as well as apple expected. they have even cut back on manufacturing. I guess it is hard to part with 400 bucks for a product some are saying thats a year of two behind amazon echo and google home. Unusual for apple. I was thinking the delay in the release was to make sure its performance was at or above the echo and home. guess not.

By late March, Apple had lowered sales forecasts and cut some orders with Inventec Corp., one of the manufacturers that builds the HomePod for Apple, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Never heard of homepod. I know Google home and Alexa though. Apple needs to spend a few billions on advertising.
