Homescreens Won't Rotate

My homescreens no longer rotate, even though I've got the auto-rotate screen option checked. The applications still rotate, so I don't think it's a hardware problem. Droid X, not rooted. Any ideas?

The homescreens on the DX do not rotate...if you mean when you rotate the phone from Portrait to Landscape modes. The only way the screens rotate is when inside of am application.

Now, I have managed to "trick" my DX into displaying my Homescreens in Landscape, but it required me to use a magnet and it took a few tries to get it right...see the pics attached below. If you look at the top left of the Notification Bar, you can see where the phone "thinks" it is in Car Dock mode...but it is not showing the Car Dock screen, it is showing my normal Homescreen and the other is a pic of my App drawer in Landscape Mode.

I would have sworn that it used to rotate. Would be a cool feature.

Yeah, I think that is 1 thing the Blur UI has missing that needs to be fixed...whats the point of having a phone thats able to rotate screens, if the 7 homescreens arent capable...seems retarded to me.
