The Honor 8 of last year was acclaimed as one of the best bang for your buck phones in the US of last year. The unique design paired with the feature set and specs at the price point was an undeniable win! Huawei has just launched the successor of the device the Honor 9.

This new device includes a very similar design with one major difference being a front facing fingerprint scanner. The phone features a 5.15" Full HD Display, Kirin 960 (same as Mate 9 and Huawei P10, and will be offered in three storage variants 4GB RAM/ 64GB of storage, 6GB RAM/64GB of storage, 6GB of RAM/ 128GB of storage. Other specs include micro sd card slot, dual cameras with 12MP and 20MP sensors, 3200mah battery, and a headphone jack. The phone will sell in China first starting on June 16 starting at $340. This appears to the the midranger king for 2017!

That is a Sharp Phone, 6GB Ram and 128GB I thought i saw for ~$440 is a steal for that Quality. Yes its no Snapdragon but these smaller SoCs are starting to really Compete. If this worked on Verizon I would Seriously Consider one.
