Horrible 3g speeds

Is it normal that when I use speedtest.net I get less than 100 kbps download? I usually get really good 3g speed but this week its been really bad. Any ideas?

It's generally dependent on your proximity to a tower, are you doing the test in the same place you have in the past?

I've got Horrible service ever since they rolled out 4gLTE.. not sure what it is, but I have to call them..

Same here. Before the new year my speeds were great. Since the new year on the other hand its been horrible at best. Maybe Verizon is getting us to buy new 4g devices

and thats retarded because i live in a place that wont get 4G for at least another year. i noticed that speeds suck since the Iphone came to verizon!

I generally get 1Mbps download on 3G regardless of where I am and I've been from the L.A. area up to the Lake Tahoe and San Francisco areas. It's all about 1Mbps.

Just tried it and got 1.22Mbps down and .89Mbps up.

If you are getting bad speeds since the 4G started rolling out have you tried doing a *228 option 1? It updates your tower list along with all service settings.

Also, you can try a factory reset as well to see if that helps (it can actually help).
