hot spot problems

I canceled my xfinity today, added the hot spot to my razr, problem I'm having is it works ok on 3g sometimes hard to connect, and disconnects before it ever shows that it was connected, doesn't work at all on 4g, both have good signal strength, what gives? Is the hot spot crap or what?

Maybe try one of the third party apps?? Foxfi works good..

Funny i had downloaded foxfi months ago and never tried it, well I tried it last night and it worked flawlessly, and it worked on 4g, tonight i will try it on ps3,

I ROOTED my phone and used a third party app that lets me have it free.

I do not know about this "Foxfi", but this one right here will do the trick. Just ROOT your phone AND be sure to place a password on your app so not just anyone can access that network you have made. I did with mine plus I locked the app because the password is plain as day to see when you access this app. Hope this helps.
