How Access Street View In Google Maps?

I noticed that STREET VIEW kicks in at the end of your navigation showing your destination; however I'm wondering if it's possible to pick a location on google maps and get the STREET VIEW for that location w/o having to navigate to it.

Yep, just zoom all the way in and if there is a street view, it will be displayed.

long press any street or house, business, exc. and it will give you an option if availible

What the others said, but it has to be available, not all areas have street view.
