How can I block App uninstall?

HI, if this is in wrong forum please move or notify me. Droid X is the phone. I have a web filter/app blocker I installed on this phone. It works well.....except all I need to do is go to the all apps icon on the right side of the dock and go into apps and uninstall it. So essentially it does not do much good if it can be uninstalled in a few seconds. Questions: 1. Is there a way to protect an app (this filter app) so it cannot be uninstalled without a password? 2. Is there a wayto block entrance into the all apps icon on the dock? Either of these would solve my problem. Thanks

I don't know if you can on the stock Rom but on almost all custom Roms you can password protect any app you want. Certain apps can also be installed as system apps or with admin permissions so that they can be uninstalled as easily. You can also hide apps.
